Registering for Multiple Sections of the Same Class July 14, 2010

Attention all College Students:

Starting Fall Quarter 2010, the college is changing the procedure and process for students that register for more than one section of the same class. You will see this message from Enrollment Services:

“Edmonds Community College reserves the right to deny registration by a single student in two or more sections of the same course in order to maximize the availability of seats for all prospective and current students. Students who register for more than one section of the same course may be dropped from the last added section or sections without notice.”

What does this mean for you? You will no longer be able to save a seat in more than one section of the same class. The college will drop the last section added if you are already registered for the same class. The reason for the change is to prevent students from taking more than one seat in a class, allowing more sections to be available for other students like you. If you have questions about this change in procedure, please contact ISS.

  1. […] If you register for more than one section of the same class, EdCC will drop the most recent class that you added. To ensure that you keep your class schedule as you want it you should avoid saving a seat in two or more sections of the same class. For more information please CLICK HERE. […]
