Are you curious about the customs and traditions of Costa Rica and the country of Cameroon in Africa?

Meet students Pamela Varela from San Jose, Costa Rica and Walters Takwe Feh from the country of Cameroon in Africa. Tamales are a staple of the Costa Rican Christmas dinner as well as pastries and other desserts like Tres Leches Cake. Costa Rican citizens often decorate fragrant cypress trees with ornaments and lights. Cameroon is made of over 250 tribes and ethnic groups, each with its distinctive dress style, music, food, beliefs, etc. A staple is rice or fufu served with some form of sauce with meat or fish.

Sample one traditional food item from both countries.

Please join us. We look forward to seeing you there!
