International Student Services offers exciting opportunities to our new and returning students, both international and domestic!
One such opportunity is the Conversation Partner Program (CPP). The program offers two different ways to meet and get to know people from around the world.
1) The traditional CPP way: interested students and volunteers go to the website and fill out the registration form. Partners are placed and meet with CPP coordinator and are responsible for meeting at least 8 hours over the quarter.
2) The Group Gathering: Every Wednesday from 4:30-6 (TODAY!), the CPP coordinators will be prepared with activities and topics for a group conversation. These Gatherings are held in Rainier Place’s Community room (many thanks to campus housing). Last quarter was a big success and we hope to continue having a great time!
Anyone in the community is welcome to participate as a conversation partner volunteer and is also invited to join us at the Group Gatherings.
CPP is a great way to be active on campus and make a difference in peoples’ lives. If you are interested in participating, please check out the website (Conversation Partner Program).
