Institutional TOEFL test at EdCC September 26, 2016

For ESL students that are in ESL level 4 or below that wish to go to College or High School for winter quarter 2017. There are two Institutional TOEFL tests available for fall quarter 2016.

  1. November 18th (sign up by 10/18)
  2. December 2nd (sign up by 11/2)

Please sign up at the Testing Center in MLT 152.

Summer Quarter Reminders May 22, 2015

Are you planning to GO HOME or take a VACATION quarter this SUMMER?

  •  College and High School students do not need to report to ISS plans to go home or take a vacation quarter for summer.
  • Intensive English as a Second Language (IESL) students must submit a STUDENT STATUS REPORT  to report plans to go home or request approval for a vacation quarter (any quarter).
    • IESL student eligibility for vacation in the US: you must have completed three full time quarters (fall 2014, winter 2015, spring 2015) AND plan to return for fall 2015. You MUST request a vacation and get approval before summer quarter.
    • IESL students may go home any quarter, it is not necessary to finish 3 full time quarters. You must submit a STUDENT STATUS REPORT + COPY OF PLANE TICKET, and plan to be outside the US for 60 or more days.
    • IESL pre-registration information will be given in class.

Don’t forget to get your I-20 signed before you travel! Visit the ISS office today!

Tuition Due Dates, Summer and Fall 2013 June 7, 2013

College and High School Students:

Summer: All tuition and fees are due no later than 7 calendar days from the first day that you register for classes OR by the first day of the quarter, whichever comes first. Adding, dropping or re-registering does not extend your due date.

Your classes will be dropped if you don’t pay by the due date listed on your registration form and you will need to re-register. However, your tuition will be due immediately after you re-register.

Fall: If you register early for Fall 2013 (recommended), the first tuition due date is August 21st. We suggest that you pay tuition before you leave on vacation or go home for the summer. If you register after August 21st,  tuition is due no later than 7 calendar days from the first day that you register for classes OR by the first day of the quarter, whichever comes first.

Intensive ESL Students Registration and Tuition Due Dates:

Summer: Registration for IESL classes is on Tuesday, July 2nd.

  Fall: Registration for IESL classes is on Tuesday, September 24th.

*Tuition is due for Intensive ESL classes at the time of registration and no later than 7 days from the registration date. *Payment plan not available for Intensive ESL students

COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:

SUMMER QUARTER TUITION
All tuition and fees are due no later than 7 calendar days from the first day that you register for classes OR by the first day of the quarter, whichever comes first. Adding, dropping or re-registering does not extend your due date.

Summer Quarter Tuition Deadlines, for example:

If you register Tuition is due
May 24th May 31st
June 29th July 2nd (the first day of the quarter)

FALL QUARTER TUITION
If you register early, tuition is due at the time of registration. You must pay no later than AUGUST 23rd or your classes will be dropped. Please make plans to pay tuition before you leave on vacation.

The Cashier’s Office does accept credit card payments on the phone. If you have any questions about tuition payment, please come to the ISS office.

INTENSIVE ESL STUDENTS:

SUMMER AND FALL QUARTER TUITION FOR IESL STUDENTS

  • Summer quarter: Registration for IESL classes is on Tuesday, July 3rd. All tuition and fees for IESL students are due on Friday, July 6th.
  • Fall quarter: Registration for IESL classes is on Tuesday, September 25th. All tuition and fees for IESL students are due on Friday, September 28th.

Reminders for IESL Students – Winter Quarter Registration Jan 4th November 30, 2011

Important Information

for

Intensive English Students

If you will not take classes for Winter Quarter, please visit the ISS office as soon as possible.    Please do this if you are leaving the Intensive ESL Program OR if you want to take a break for Winter and return Spring Quarter.  Not all students can take a break.  You need to talk to an ISS advisor.

Winter Quarter 2012

Registration: Wednesday, January 4

WDY 202   

Levels 1-3:  10:00 AM

Levels 4-5 :  1:00 PM

Classes Begin:    Thursday, January 5

Returning students MUST come on time to registration on January 4 and begin classes on the first day of class.  Teachers will mark you absent if you are not in classes on January 5.   Remember:  Absences will lower your grade.

If you cannot be here for Registration on January 4, you must talk to an ISS advisor as soon as possible.

Returning student MUST be registered by Tuesday, January 10 and attending classes by 9:30 on Wednesday, January 11 AND pay tuition by January 11 at the very latest.  If not, you may not be able to attend school winter quarter.
